Sometimes dictionaries change the meanings of words, but "Webster" has been consistent since 2013. Webster University repeated as champions of the President's Cup, also known as the Final Four of College Chess. The event took place April 2-3 and the win was their fourth win in as many years. WEBSTER WINS 3RD STRAIGHT FINAL FOUR TITLE

For the third time in a row Webster University won the Final Four College of Chess. It was held March 28-29 in New York. The winning team included GM Le Quang Liem, GM Ray Robson, GM Ilia Nyzhnyk and GM Vasif Durarbayli.

LE QUANG LIEM CLEAR FIRST IN HDBANK CUP

The 5th HDBank Cup International Open Chess tournament 2015 was held from 17-22nd March in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
80 players from 13 countries participated in the 9-round Swiss tournament. Among them were 20 Grandmasters and 19 International Masters.
Local star GM Le Quang Liem took the winner’s trophy and top prize of 12,000 USD after finishing clear first with 7,5/9 point. Read more
